L@@K: Green Web Hosting A few years ago there was no web hosting. The websites that existed were hosted by the Internet Service Provider (ISP). This was when there was not technical support for those who did not understand what they were doing. There were not numbers one could call anytime of the day or night for help. A call for help to an ISP usually was answered by recommending a book that could help the caller learn how to use their service. Web Hosting has not Been Around Long It was not until approximately 1996 that web hosting became an option. They were not expensive. The typical charge was about $10 per month. They also were available for help rather than recommending reading for problems.
